Please, need help. Recently, when I try and play back the recording for viewing on the LCD, it has about 5 grey lines like strips of equal width and spacing horizontally across the screen. You can view this here in this link: http://img129.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dcrtrv30ebigcy6.jpg ¿ Does really my DCR-TRV30E broken down ? ¿ Could anyone tell me what's the problem ? Thanks in advance
I had same problem. Don't buy a cleaner. Look inside camcorder and make sure both reel turners are equal in height...they can slide down. Turn both of them...one of mine was down and also did not turn to make contact with tape. We got it to turn and the message C31:23 and the dinging quit. Camera instantly worked like it used to. Good luck.
I fixed this problem by blowing some compressed air (used for computers and other electronics) at the play and record heads. Works perfectly now!
But could this be the tape?
I just not the gray lines to go away by letting it record through the whole tape still looks little wacked but im using the cheapest tape you can get from walmart
This could be just a dirty video head - first try running a head cleaner 3 or 4 times. If that doesn't take care of it, it probably needs a tape track adjustment by a repair shop.
