Where can I get instructions or a user manual for Oregon Scientific Talking Special Agent Bravo Learning PC? This learning PC was sold by Radio Shack but they don't have the manual. Does this PC normally come with a modem?
Nancy,
This is basically a learning aid device and not a real computer. Though it is in the shape of a laptop PC it have very limited function (Specifically the 74 games and activities as advertized on the box it should have come in.
No it does not have a modem, nor a cd/dvd drive or any user upgradeable parts. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If the salesperson mislead you into believing this was an actual PC instead of a learning device like the Leapfrog and Vtech line. Then you may want to return it for a refund/ store credit. But if your happy with what your kid(s) are learning while playing the games. then thats money well spent.
Good luck,
Dave
Heres a website that has SOME more info about it and an 800 number perhaps they will be able to tell you more about it.
Thanks
Dave

Dave,
Thank you so much for the information. I did find some more information on this learning device. There is a cd tray on the side and on the laptop it has printed: digital cd, printer compatible, e-mail capable, and word processor. I was looking for a manual to see what all this thing will do. I purchased it at Goodwill for my grandson with the main use of the vocabulary games. I gave a whopping $5 for it. We were having so much fun with it that we were wondering about the things it has printed on it that it says it can do. Thanks again for your email!
Nancy
I would love to have a copy if the instructions.
