Remove belt, unscrew 2 bolts that hold the motor, unplug the motor connector, lever the motor back with a screwdriver. Check the motor brushes, if they are any shorter than 1 cm replace brushes.

F21 flashing on my bosch classixx 6 1200 express

F21 is a motor fault and in some cases can also involve a module fault. It could be as simple as the brushes need replacing or the drum has been severely out of balance.

Bosch Classixx WAE24162GB/03 motor not working, have cxd brushes

There is a thermal cutout in the motor, but unfortunately it is not resettable.
The only way to be sure if it is faulty, is to check it for continuity with a meter, if it is open circuit, it can be bypassed, but this then leaves the motor unprotected, but it will prove if the fault is in the motor, or elsewhere.
It could be a blown track on the control board caused by the brushes shorting, in addition, to an open circuit thermal cut-out.

Hi there, have got a bosch 1200 classixx WF02466GB/01 - pumps working but will not spin the drum. Belt is ok and drum does move when you push it.

To make sure it is not due to water left in the drum, remove the filter, and clean.
If it still does not spin, then it is more than likely that the brushes need replacing in the motor..
You will have to remove the motor to check them..
If they are less than 3 or 4 mm long, then they need changing.
Hope this helps.

Drum not working on bosch washing machine

I would say that the brushes want replacing in the motor, access to the motor is by removing the rear panel, remove the belt, and undo screws securing motor, remove motor, brushes are located at rear end of motor.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks

Bosch classixx 1200 fills, drains, but won't wash ?

This a classic example of worn brushes in the motor.
To check , remove rear panel, remove drive belt.
Unplug motor lead, undo 2 screws that secure motor, and lever motor back with a screwdriver or similar.
Keep hold of the motor as you lever it back.
You will find the brushes at the terminal end of the motor, replace if less than 4=5 mm in length.
Refit motor belt and motor plug.Test. before you refit panel
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Bosch Classixx 1200 Express wont spin!!!! HELP

Make sure that all the water has drained from the washer, if it has a filter, remove and clean, it is located behind a removable plastic panel at the front of the m/c, if it still does not spin, suggest you remove motor and check the brushes for wear, this is often the reason it won't spin, but will wash o/k.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks

Brushes

I just did this and had to take the motor off because I couldn't get to one of the brushes. It was easy to get off (only 2 bolts) and just as easy to put back on. Taking the motor off made life much easier as fitting the brushes is fiddly.
