Whirlpool Quiet Partner II not washing or sensing.

We have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II that was being noisy and then it stopped washing the dishes. We took it apart and found a nutshell in it but now it is still not going through the wash cycle. We have noticed when we start the dishwasher on a normal wash cycle that the LED light for sensing doesnt light up. Does that have anything to do with the dishwasher not washing?

When started it goes right to washing and then fills up with water and stops. It is model number DU1015.

Had same problem about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Repairman said was sensor so we had it replaced. Now same thing has occurred again. This was preceded by a noisy machine a week or so before it stopped washing. I can get a fault code of D3-05-16 but cant find anywhere that tells me how to repair.

You can check you machine to get a fault code by touching these buttons:

Heated dry, then Normal, then Heated dry, then Normal again. A code will flash in 3 sets of double digits. The first set may have letter and/or number. My code is D3 05 16.

I would like to know what this means so I can be sure the repairman is ripping me off or if I need to just buy another dishwasher since this is the 2nd time in a short period this has occurred and the dishwasher was just bought 5/18/06.

I wish I could help, but I too have a similar problem with my Whirlpool Quiet Partner II. I dropped some pistachio shells inside the machine, and can't get down to the food grinder. It would be helpful if anyone with previous experience can chime in with some assistance.

I get a E:02 message at end of wash cycle. Dry cycle does not seem to get hot.

I have a whirlpool quiet partner II and for some reason it does not drain the water out any more and I cannot figure out why....people say that it is the filter but that is unbelievably hard to get to and I cannot find any instructions online or paper work that tells how to break it down. If anyone has any insight please let me know

Whirlpool Quiet Partner ii lights stay on after the cycle is complete. when I go to start a new cycle it will not allow me to select a washing cycle, or does not allow the start button to activate.

Are you sure the cycle is complete?
If it is drying dishes then you will be interrupting the cycle. It is possible to cancel cycle and start over.

Lock light stays on my whirlpool quiet partner II

If pushing and holding the lock button till the light goes out doesn't work, you likely have a problem on the circuit board.

Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't make the regular sound

The problem could be a clogged water line or intake valve. Check the lines and make certain they are open and flowing.

My Quiet Partner III dish washer gets very noisy while filling up with water at beginning of rinse or normal wash cycle. That noise lasts for about 1 minute upon starting only. Would it be a faulty...

yes its a bad inlet valve. sometimes you can turn down the house valve the washer is connected to a little to stop the noise.othe then that replace the inlet valve.
