Hi guys, here's one for you. I just started up my new Acer laptop, setup went great and I was well into setting up my desktop settings and all of that. But now, along the bottom of the screen I get a blue bar that says the following:
"Process: 2/25 Pre System ... Please wait..."
It has been this way for about three hours now. The only thing I've done to the laptop that might have made it cranky was uninstalled the McAfee that came with it because I loathe McAffe and everything they stand for. Why might this message be up and how can I get rid of it?
I also had the exact same problem.....but i got rid of it .....the setup is not yet done so yeah all i did was :
1. make sure there are no start up applications ......like msn ......make sure noe program will open during startup
2. dont close the window that has black screen on it iunno wat that is.....i think its ms-dos or something anyways
3. ok then after that just dont touch your computer at all ..... just leave it there on
4. after a while you'll notice the 2/25 will become 3/25 then 4/25 ...yeah just leave it like that ....until its done
this process performed by the computer really takes a long time to do so ......
