As far as I know you do know have a filter. I have read my instruction manual and it does not mention a filter at all. I have the Topaz 6036. To clean it you are to fill your tub with water and put in dishwasher detergent and let the tub run for a few minutes. You can also add a small amount of bleach.
The air coming from the blower will be cool, but should not be cold. Turn on the blower or bubbler feature (no water necessary) and go to the access panel ( as specified by install instructions), reach in and feel the tube connected to the blower, the tube should be warm, if not the heater coil is not working and the blower assembly needs to be replaced.
If you are filling the tub full enough and the pumps are still not working, the level sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. One can be ordered directly from Maax out of Canada
