• • 1. Step 1 Read the display on the electronic oven controls, where the clock and timer normally appear. If the display reads "CLN" while the "Door Locked" light is on, the Kenmore range is in self-clean mode. When the Kenmore range is in self-clean mode, you must stop the cleaning process before the door will unlock.
       
    2. Step 2 Stop the self-cleaning process by pressing and holding the "Stop/Clear" button for three seconds. The oven lock should disengage after three seconds. In some cases, a malfunction between the control panel and the locking mechanism prevents the door from unlocking.
       
    3. Step 3 Hold the light switch for several seconds if the "Stop/Clear" button fails to unlock the range door. Engaging the light switch for several seconds resets the entire locking mechanism and overrides the "Stop/Clear" button.
       

if range is self clean make sure door is closed, put on self clean wait about 0ne minute or so then cancel self clean . sounds like range is stuck in door lock Cheers

Hello steve o - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

The electronic timer/clock must be working and be in manual mode for the oven to work. Try turning the power off and on and see if it resets. If is doesn't you might need a new timer unit. If you don't need the timer and clock it can be easily by-passed at the rear by joining the active and load wires and the oven will work.

The problem lies within your oven control board. This is very common and are not very hard to replace but they are expensive. You can check the price of a new control board at sears parts.

F3 The oven temperature sensor is open Check for open wire connection between EOC (Electronic Oven Control - Clock) and the oven temperature sensor. Replace sensor if no wiring problem. My experience (Kenmore Ultra-bake Model 665-72002102) was that E1 F5 meant an error with the oven lock switch. In our case, the latch was partly stuck from food or other debris. Just moving the latch back and forth loosened the scale that was making it stick, and it worked again.

Press the self-clean button.  The panel becomes blank(---), then press the up arrow( ^ ).  The panel will appear 3:00 (indication for the duration of self-cleaning). The oven will lock on its own and start the self-cleaning.  Good luck, ya'll!
