How to replace the bottom door seal on an Electrolux Dishlex dishwasher DX303WK.

To Note: Before you begin, make sure you have the correct door seal for your dishwasher model. Before beginning any repairs, switch off the dishwasher and unhook it from the power source.

Materials Needed:

• New door seal compatible with Electrolux Dishlex DX303WK
• Screwdriver
• Pliers
• Clean cloth

Step 1: Remove the Old Door Seal

• Open the dishwasher door and locate the existing door seal around the bottom edge of the tub.
• Gently peel back the old door seal from the edge of the tub. It should be secured with a rubber gasket or clips.
• Use a screwdriver or pliers, if necessary, to remove any retaining clips or fasteners holding the old seal in place.

Step 2: Clean the Area

• Once the old door seal is removed, clean the area around the edge of the tub thoroughly. Use a clean cloth to remove any dirt, debris, or residue.

Step 3: Install the New Door Seal

• Take the new door seal and align it around the edge of the dishwasher tub, making sure it sits properly in place.
• If your dishwasher has retaining clips or fasteners, use them to secure the new door seal in place. Alternatively, press the seal firmly to ensure it adheres to the tub securely.

Open machine door then turn power off. Remove 3 bolts on front of machine. Remove the soap draw and remove the 2 (or 3) screws.Separate the front of the door seal from the metal front of the machine and fold the door seal in towards the drum. Front of whole machine will now hinge open (there is a spring catch at the bottom where the pump filter is - so dont be scared to use a little force). Use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the metal wire clamp that sits around the door seal. Once off, door seal can be removed from the outer drum. Replace with new door in reverse order. Note that putting on the new door seal to the outer drum is a bit of an art and may take you a few attempts (so be patient but persistant), as you must make sure it is seated in position correctly. Remove the door makes the job easier. Using a table lay the door with door seal in the upright position. Pinch and pull the door seal over to one side to expose the door seal screws. Remove screws and gasket/ seal and install the new door seal in the reverse order.

1. remove top cover.
2. Remove soap dispenser draw.
3. unscrew the screws securing the the soap dispenser to front console.
4. Pull timer dial off, noting position of symbols.
5. slide console panel to right, and lift up out of way of front panel.
6. Undo 3 screws securing top of front panel.
7. undo 2 screws securing door interlock to front of panel.
8. Remove plastic clip securing door seal to front of panel.
9. remove wire clamp band round front of door seal.
10. Undo 3 screws at bottom of front panel securing it to cabinet .
11. remove front panel.
12. Unscrew thye top wire clamp band securing the seal to drum front.
13. remove door seal.
14. Fit new door seal, making sure the drainage holes are at the bottom dead center.
15. reassemble in reverse order.

Unplug the washer. With the door open, look at the bottom of the seal. You'll see a ring clamp. Loosen the screw and remove the clamp. Peel the seal inward. It is easier to complete the seal swap with the front off. Remove the door and set aside. Locate the screws for the front of the machine and remove them, gaining access to the seal. Youcan either set the door to the side with the door lock wires still attached, or unclip them, which is easier. With the seal folded inward, you will likely find another clamp at the bottom. Loosen this as well. Remove the seal and replace with the new one, making sure to orient it like the old one was, and fold it to the inside like you had the old one for removal. Replace the front panel. Complete the seal installation, being careful to make sure that the clamp removed earlier gets put back in the groove and seats well. Reinstall the door.

2: remove the lower front panel
3; remove the control panel
4: remove the screws holding the door switch
5: remove clamparound the door seal and remove front panel (2 screws bottom and 2 up)
6: remove clip around door seal that holds tothe tub
7: replace seal....

Since you wrote your question 13 months ago, I'm guessing the problem is solved. Still, for others experiencing the same issue, here's my answer.

We also experienced leaking on our Miele 858 Incognito dishwasher and were able to replace the bottom door seal (today) without removing the door.

First, call the Miele Parts Dept @ 800-999-1360 to place an order for the door seal, which is part #3920725.

Remove the defective seal by loosening the four screws at the bottom of the door. Pull the black rubber seal out and discard. Install the new part in the same spot (underneath the green flange). Tighten the screws and you'll be in business.
