Hpvs17e white backround is pink

hucknannie, Power down the pc and monitor. Then disconnect and reconnect the VGA cable a few times to the rear of the pc. then turn system back on and re-boot. If your "PINK" screen still there, then you may need to have unit refurbished with new "cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamps" or have the internal "switch- mode-power supply/ccfl-inverter-supply" inspected and repaired. Yes, before you do anything, visit this web blog about HP monitors!!! http://www.lesliewong.us/blog/2005/05/02/hp-pavilion-f1703-flat-panel-display-blackout-solution/ Read and make note that people are still visiting the blog even after 4 years!! How do you change yuor backround on facebook

Facebook does not appear to give you the option to change your background as easily as uploading an image. You can visit http://www.fbexpressions.com/ where they offer a free app you can install on your Facebook page and choose from a large catalogue of backgrounds to display on your Facebook page. their app is free.

All i get is a backround no words, no connection for controllers

are you connected with the HDMI cable? DId you switch TVs recently?

You might have the resolution under settings set wrong. so the screen is really tiny. If your remote for the tv has a zoom option, zoom up until you can see the settings to change the output

Computer Noises....

happens with a mixed ground issue. I had same thing with my laptop. only way to avert this is to super ground your digital sound devices...and connect them to ground/chassis of the desktop, if that's your option.

Gray backround

Does your scanner software give the option to choose different modes...grayscale, color, black & white?? This sounds like it's scanning in grayscale....if you can change it to black & white, the background should remain white.
