Additional faded page

1.Log on to your computer and print a test page to the printer. Click on the "Start" button, choose "Control Panel" and then "Printers and Faxes." Right-click on the laser printer, choose "Properties" from the drop-down menu and click the "Print test page" box.

2.Look at the quality of the print on the finished page. If the print is light or faded, the ink cartridge is probably empty or at least empty enough that it should be replaced. You can try to get some extra life out of your toner cartridge by taking it out of the printer, shaking it vigorously and putting it back in. Under normal printing loads, this can give you one to three days of additional printing capacity.

3.Open the printer cover and carefully pull out the toner cartridge. Set the cartridge aside while you open the box containing the new toner. Pull the new toner out but do not yet remove any of the packaging materials. Compare the weight of the new toner with the old one. If the old toner is very light, it is nearly empty and should be replaced.

If the scanner is properly detected in the computer, u can find it under the option scanners in the control panel.
If u find it, right click on the scanner and click scan.

According to page 6 of the manual, your 3610 came with system memory 256/512 MB of DDR2 400 memory, and is upgradeable to 2 GB using two soDIMM modules.

You can see a list of sources for your memory here. Additionally, you could go to Crucial's site and perform a scan of your computer for suggestions of memory upgrades.

1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options.
2. From the list on the left, click Accounts.
3. The second half of this page is called "Extra Mail Address." Click Get Started and follow the instructions to create an extra mail address.

Note: When you create an extra mail address, it appears in the list of Yahoo! Mail accounts shown on this page. To help prevent spamming, an extra address can only be changed twice in one year.

It is dust on the glass, clean it thoroughly. You will find it at the same location for all drawings and may get faded for lower brightness!

Check you "Home Page" under Tools | Options. Firefox allows you to set multiple home pages, separated by a pipe like this: |

So, you could have the following in the Home Page field:
http://www.google.com | http://www.ibm.com

Thereafter, whenever you open your home page, you'll get an extra window with the second URL opened. It sounds like you may have gotten some junk in there. In the case of my example above, you'd see Google open and a new tab with IBM.

The default setting for this scanner is EAN13 enabled. This means that all 12 character barcodes will be changed to 13 characters by adding a zero in front.
How to Disable:

Open the manual that came with the scanner (it's available to download on the Cipherlab web page if you don't have it).
Find the UPCA Parameters barcodes (currently page 29). The next heading down is Convert to EAN13. You will see the disable and enable barcodes.

1) Scan Enter Setup Barcode (on practically every page of the manual at the bottom). The scanner will beep 6 times.
2) Scan the Convert to EAN13 Disable barcode. The scanner will beep once.
3) Scan the Update barcode at the bottom of the same page.

Your scanner should now read both 12 and 13 character barcodes correctly.

For you to be able to scan multiple pages using the .pdf and save it in one file, here are the steps that i want you to follow.

SOLUTION I.

1. Open the Solution Center.
2. Click on Settings, then go to scan settings.
3. Click on Scan preferences.
4. Make sure that the "Prompt for additional scans from glass/TMA has a checkmark. then click OKAY.

SOLUTION II.
1. Solution Center is open, click on Scan documents.
2. Scan document settings is open, choose SCAN TO: .pdf and file type is .pdf
3. Click on SCAN below. It will start scanning, and just click on ACCEPT everytime it gives preview on each document.
