My 25 hp zero turn Husqvarna Model number ZTH-6125 keeps blowing the 20 amp fuse. To start with, when I moved forward, after about 20 seconds the fuse would blow. Now when I turn the key, the fuse blows. I have replaced both wiring harness, and the ignition switch, but still have the same problem. I disconnected the electric clutch at the motor and the fuse still blows. Then I disconnected the PTO switch and the fuse did not blow. Does this mean my PTO switch is bad or could it be the starter or the electric clutch. Thanks in advance, Dean
SOURCE: eXmark mower blows fuse when deck is engaged.
try checking the wires from the switch that engages the mower deck. if there is a wire grounding out sumplace when you kick it on it will keep popping the fuse no matter what. id say its a short.
SOURCE: I have a Husqvarna Yth 180, the lawn mower shut
try unplugging the pto then start the mower next engage the blades and see if the fuse blows if it does the problem lies in the mowers wiring if not the problem lies in the pto. hope this helps
SOURCE: fuse keeps blowing
In my experience...if it blows the fuse as soon as you turn the key, under the flywheel, there is a stator that recharges the battery when the engine is running, remove the flywheel, in most cases the magnets under it are broken and are in direct contact with the stator. If that is the case, both must be replaced

disconnect the starter and turn the ignition to see if the fuse blows, if it does not then the starter is grounded, but more then likely there is a stripped/bare wire grounding out somewhere. Hope this helped Tim
