My son bought me a samsung stereo headset sbh500 and it paired fine but when i use it to listen to music on my htc 8925 the sound keeps cutting off and on.I contacted samsung about the problum and they said it was a htc problem. I contacted Htc about it and they said it was a samsung problem. No one will help. I went to store where my son bought the headsets and they only replace with the same model headset and that pair did the same thing.
I don't recommend HTC phones for this reason. Poor quality. If you have a problem with their phones their only support number is in the Netherlands and you have to ship them your phone if it's under warranty with no spare to use while it's in service.

To identify where the problem is, try connecting another bluetooth device (like another phone, or a bluetooth headset). The other device will most likely connect. If it does, try contacting the manufacturer of the dongle, they will probably have a simple solution to fix it.
If it does not connect to another device, try deleting the bluetooth devices stored in phone (especially ones you dont use, but you may need to delete more/all depending on the situation) and add then. This fixes connection issues the majority of the time with very little trouble since rebonding what you need later is a simple task.
SOURCE: Without the manual for my BH M200 HTC blue tooth,
Try the default pair code as 0000, 00000, 00000000 or 12345. One of the above codes should work with your headset.

Hi, to pair this device first make sure it is powered off.
Then press and keep holding the power on button (large round one on the front). After a few seconds the LED will illuminate blue and then after a couple more seconds will flash red and blue. Now you should be able to pair with it.

Nik.
