SOURCE: i have Toshiba 14" Satellite L645 i5450 notebook

the Satellite L645 line has optional built in analog modem
but can not find info on you specific model

this line does not seem to have a serial port nor pc card slot
therefore can not support a analog model unless you can find a manufacturer of a usb model

but if your want to connect to a dsl or cable modem that is done thru your rj45 port with a ethernet cable

It is possible to connect a modem to the laptop. Connect the modem to the laptop using the telephone style socket on the laptop. The mother board will then pick this up and load the relevant drivers for your modem.
If you are not sure, contact Toshiba online. They are extremely helpfull.
Hope this helps.

Toshiba satellie l645 turn off after 1min

Do you get any error messages? If so, post them here. Otherwise, I'd say it's overheating. Make sure all the vents and openings are clear of any dust or fuzz. If you're comfortable taking it apart, see if you can clean the fan for the processor

ANYONE KNOW WHY MY TOSHIBA SATELLITE L645 BECOME BLACK SCREEN BUT THE PROGRAM STILL RUNNING ?

you probably don't need a new screen it's probably your screen inverter that's going. It's just a small strip at the bottom of the screen wjth a little circuit board. If you google screen inverter and the make and model of your laptop you'll see what I mean.

How to solve Toshiba satellite L645 From black screen ?

You may have a faulty inverter, it supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp.
If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions to identify the fault and possible fix :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3598095-faulty_laptop_lcd_screen

Hi , I have a toshiba satellite L645 , when i play game suddenly my screen laptop become black and a few minute become normal then happen again , what must i do ?

Your laptop cannot handle the game. It's too intense.

More in-depth;
Your graphics are Integrated Graphics.
It is Intel HD Graphics,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_HD_Graphics

Uses an Intel Pentium P6200 processor,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_microprocessors#.22Arrandale.22_.2832_nm.29

That processor is based on the Arrandale Core.
(32 NanoMeter architecture)

Means It is the first Intel HD Graphics. 6 Execution Units.

Be lucky if it could fight it's way out of a wet paper bag; graphics performance speaking.

Also if you have never had your laptop partially disassembled for cleaning, (Fan/finned Heatsink), I would advise you to do so, and avoid a lot of trouble in the future. (Maybe near future)

Do it yourself? Sure IMHO. You, though, will have to be the judge,

ESD wrist strap, and it's alligator clip attached to a good ground source.
Average cost is $3 to $6.
One example,

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103245

Set a large metal serving tray (Unpainted), on the table you're working on, and connect to it.
Or a large metal knickknack. (Unpainted)

Use a mutli-compartment container for the various screws you will remove. Label each compartment for the area the screw/s come out of.
SOME screws look VERY similar to other screws.
Advise do NOT mix them up!

Use Q-tips, a soft small brush, (Makeup brush?), and a can of compressed air for computers.

Want to see how bad it can get, and you won't know it until you see it?

I'm having problem with Intel Extreme Graphics in my Toshiba L645-S4102

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions EIDE,SATA

the leads from your motherboard to your hard drive make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

you might have a dirty graphics card if you remove your graphics card clean both card and socket restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

or you might try these
