At first the screen went white and I had a ever moving set of hotizontal stripes running around the set. This is then taken over by a black block which used to reduce until one had a normal picture. Now the black block is so large that when watching "strictly" one is lucky to be able to see the shoes of the dancers! Where do I go from here. The set has been reliable and I have only had one repair in connection with the on/off switch and the "hold" and that was years ago. The set was brought from one flat where it has hardly been used to me new home whilst my partner has my Sony! Ideally I wish to have a TV which can be used as a monitor with my PC but there is no urgency. Do I have cheese and bread for Christmas or can my Hitachi be repaired? Thank you for your help.
