I want to move my Toshiba 65H80 tv? how can I disassemble it?
No, cabinet is glued and screwed---entire front screen can be removed and the mirror inside also(be very careful with that) as they are the two things that get damaged most when transporting a set.
Moving a long ways or just across town?
Testimonial: "Thank you, i'll do..."
It can be transported in a truck but precautions need to be taken: screen must face front of vehicle and be covered and secured(if faces rear wind may rip the outer screen right out and we do not want that?)
If the movers take it make sure you photo the screen and cabinet and that if damaged they have insurance--usual precautions here.
the only other hazard is the mirror--over rough roads or bumps it is possible to break the mirror--have the pieces come forward and damage the screens from the inside----same can happen if movers move it---need to examine it instantly when it arrives to make sure set still working----a good idea is also to have movers see it working with no physical damage and SIGN OFF ON THAT--so when arrives at new place you do the same and know all is well or not.
I got one from the shop where I worked once for free and fixed---was going to have our guys with the big truck deliver it---not that I am distrustful but I removed entire screen unit with frame and mirror and transported them myself.
Check and photos before and after set goes is key.

No not wise. Dirt etc gets in on the mirror or lenses any sand or abrasives and your TV will never be the same..

Moving across town (approx. 25 miles), but the main problem is the movers are charging a huge extra because of the weight of the TV. I installed it in the basement and it is difficult to pass in the narrow staircase.
