Whirlpool Accubake - Can't get out of clean mode

I have a Whirlpool Accubake self-cleaning oven. One day when we were trying to bake food, the oven door locked and the temperature rose to it's maximum - the panel indicated that it was in bake mode and set at 375 degrees.
Even after unplugging the oven for 1 hour (several times) the oven still goes into what appears to be the cleaning mode; door locked and maximum temperature.
I managed to unlock the door by pushing the lock lever with a screwdriver. The oven continued to maximum temperature.
I completely unplugged the control panel - turned the electricity back on with exactly the same results - oven goes to maximum temperature (top heating element only).
Disconnecting the temperature sensor gave the same results.
What do I do next????

Thank you.

I spilled a lot of bacon grease in my accubake oven when i turned the self cleaner on it flamed

Wipe out the oven with paper towels. As much as you can. Try putting some baking powder down to absorb the grease then wipe it out. If the flames are not huge it should be ok. Mine did that once and burned out the grease and did not damage the oven, but they were very small and burned down quickly.

Whirlpool self-cleaning feature not available

Because the features mention utilize 220 VAC power, I do not advise you attempt any corrections. Very dangerous; unless you are a trained technician. If the unit is in Warranty, get the Whirlpool folks out to you home ASAP.
