Dryer NOT drying clothes intermittent problem

Frigidaire Gallery model #FSEC748GFS1 ser#XD93801740.I am having intermitent problem with not drying items.A full load of towels will come out dry and the next load of light items will not be completely dry for example.Vent is clear.Controls set at proper setting.I believe this dryer has a moisture sensor for energy saving.Could this be the problem or any other suggestions? I have a Frigidaire Gallery Heavy Duty electric dryer, the dryer run non-stop even on auto-dry mode (timer doesn't advance) but the clothes aren't drying either.

Timer will not advance unless the element is working. Suspect bad element or bad thermal fuse on element housing

I have a gas Frigidaire Gallery dryer. There is an error code "LOC". I can't get it to work now.

This indicates there is an error with the door lock mechanism. It will most likely need to be replaced. This will prevent the dryer from working and is a safety feature to prevent injury while the dryer is in operation. It is fairly quick and cheap to repair.

mamch,
You said,We have a Frigidaire Gallery dryer with a moisture sensor. I've had this model in the past with no concerns, but our current model doesn't seem to work as well. When set to an "automatic" cycle (where the moisture sensor is used) the clothes don't always come out dry and it has to be turned on again. Would there be any reason for this?

What's the model # and the age?
There are two types of moisture sensors.
One has to strips of metal on a black disk looking thing on the dryer rear wall and the other works on steam rather than contact!
Could be you had the better on before that was the contact one rather than the steamm sensor!
How long to dry a load of clothes ?
