Everytime I cut on my PS3, I keep getting the message "The Hard Disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored." My only option from this point is to select ok, my only option by the way, and wait for it to restore my computer to 100%. When I press ok, a loading bar comes up. Once it gets to 100%, it goes back to the same message, and I have to do this over and over again, with no results.
People keep saying that I can take out my PS3 HDD, put it in a laptop, and reformat it like that. I want to do that, but I'm not sure of the steps. Do I restore it using a program on my computer? Or do I get an operation system disc and do it that way? Please help. ::
Hold in the power button until you hear 2 beeps. might not work the first time. if no 2 beeps repeat power button again or until 2 beeps. go to restore hard disc and click on it. you will lose anything saved on the hard disc but fixes it 75% of the time. did it myself this morning.
