My ps3 wont play my new games anymore after my latest system update when i went online. these games were playing b4 and play on other ps3s and all other games play still no prob. how can i reset my os system update as they were playing b4 i got updated 2 os 2.52

You have to Update your Ps3 Firmware to fix GTA4 online bugs..

even if you play gta4 offline, the game bugs wont stop..

You have to Update your Ps3 with the latest Firmware from sony!

There are some firmwares that support playing movies on the game, if the files are not complete, then the ps3 will not be able to play any movie, and some times it might affect game discs as well.

So when next your playstation 3 wants to system update, allow it, so it will automatically restore the files that are necessary to play a blue ray disc.

Systems update is done online, so you must have an internet connection either wireless or by connection for the playstation, and if it pops up the system update message next time, allow it. It will install new firmwares for the playstation 3 and you will be able to enjoy better services on the game.

Honestly, your hard drive might be full. If so, just delete the stupid stuff, like Old games saves you never play anymore and stuff like that. And if that doesn't work, then you have a DNS error. Sorry, kid.

The latest PS3 update should now be 3.10.

The updates the games ask for is a game update, and not a system update.

You should only have to do the large game update the first time you play a game, and then it may have smaller ones later on.

Once in awhile, the keys just expire. To renew it, go to SYSTEM UPDATE in your PS3s xmb.. 2nd tab over top option..click it and it will ask you to select a method. Update via internet. Go through this you should be good to go.they usually expire after 12-18 mos. Heres a link to the manual..

well, what you have here is a serious problem.. you need to take that in to the repair people to get that fixed
