Overlocker machine janome harmony 9102d

I have spent hours threading and re-threading the machine according to the diagrams in my manual, but can't seem to correct the problem. It is so weird because everything will start off fine and all of a sudden the threads stop locking and when I open the machine the lower looper thread has somehow escaped the eye of the looper--it is still correctly threaded everywhere else and the thread has not been broken (so one end is wound around the thread cone and the other is still locked up in my stitches but somehow the middle has escaped a seemingly solid metal looper--I can't understand how this is physically possible?...)

Thread keeps breaking after a while on my overlocker

I would suggest checking the tension, it may be to tight

I would change the needles

I also would rethread the machine to make sure it's threaded right

if it continues I suggest to have it serviced

..the right needle thread keeps coming out and I

Sounds like you have a tension problem. Have you re-threaded? Check tension discs for bits of broken thread which may cause jamming. The thread must be catching somewhere. Pull it through by hand to see if it is too tight.

I do not know how to rethread my Janome overlocker

look on you tube as there is a guide video. Once you have it threaded, tie the new thread to the old one and pull it through so you don't have to start again. You can even sew slowly and ease the know through the guides.
overlockers are fussy about start position of tail of thread, so hold it correctly when you start

I NEED TO LOCATE THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR JANOME HARMONY 9102D SEWING MACHINE~~WHERE CAN I FIND ONE??THANK YOU,CHERYL

I have read two postings on this particular model. One owner indicated the only instructions came on a VHS tape and the other was looking for a replacement manual as the dog and destroyed their original!!!!

I would contact Janome for a manual, or use this generic version for threading -

Another good source for serger basics is Nancy Zieman's book "Serge With Confidence". The book has much more than a manual usually provides.

My janome harmony 9102D serger I think is out of

i suggest you get a tech to re-time your machine. timing is complex on an overlocker and if not done correctly you will probably break a looper.

How do i thread a janome 9102D overlocker ?

Follow manual or the diagram on the machine, no way for someone to explain this with words.
