How do I put LG HBS 700 into pairing mode - LG HBS-700 Bluetooth Headset

Just put in your model number. But to pair a device to your headset, you can do the following:

1) Easy Pairing a) Move the Power Switch to the "ON" position. b) If it is your first time paring the device it will automatically enter pairing mode. If it has been paired but no paired device is in range it will enter Pairing mode after 10 seconds.
• The LED indicator will be Solid Blue c) On the device you wish to pair, find the bluetooth menu and "serch for" or "add" new devices d) Select "LG HBS-700" From the list of devices e) If asked for a Pass/Pin Code enter 0000 (4 Zero's) f) Once pairing is complete you will hear a beep • The HBS-700 will automatically turn off if not paired within 3 minutes.

I had the same issue, fixed by using the Manual mode for pairing. From the manual:

2) Manual Pairing (Pairing with another phone or re-pairing)
a) With the Power off, press the CALL button and move the power switch to the
'ON' position at the same time for 4 seconds.
b) When the headset enters Pairing Mode, the LED indicator will show a solid
blue light. After the procedure repeat Easy Pairing steps c through f.

Steps C through F are to go to the bluetooth settings area and manually select the HBS-700 for pairing.

The LG HBS 700 will automatically go into pairing mode if it does not detect the last device it was paired with. So, make sure all other bluetooth devices are off, turn the earpiece on and wait for the status light to show solid blue. Then you can turn on the bluetooth on your other device and search for the HBS 700.

It should automatically go into pairing mode if it does not detect the last device you paired it to when you turn it on. After startup it should say "ready to pair". Make sure all other bluetooth devices are turned off before turning on the HBS730

try using firmware to reload settings to phone

Make sure the headset is off when you hold the call button for 5 sec. And don't stop holding it when you hear/see something happen after the first 2 sec. Keep holding it for the full 5 sec. The blue light will become solid which means it's in pairing mode.

YOU TURN THE POWER ON THEN HOLD IN THE SILVER PAUSE, PLAY BUTTON UNTIL IT SELECTS THE PAIRING MODE.
