Hello Sir or Madame,
I received System Error A04 when I attempted to install new cartridges. *I had previously changed my cartridges, but nothing would print ---- only the alignment page & the test page prints, but not any regular document I try to print.
Please let me know what I need to do!
Sincerely,
Katie Morgan ([email protected])

When my X83 would show signs of when turned on the printer would spool for 10 seconds or so then I would get an error A04, then the display would turn off , The problem I found was not a paper jam nor a item jamed in the rollers what I found and this was after the X83 was completely disassembled and I found that the little paper switch , the little plastic arm about 1 inch or so it's what tells the printer that there is paper or not that is being fed into the printer , it's location is with the paper hopper removed ( PLEASE BECAREFUL NOT TO LOOSE THE LITTLE GEARS ON THE RIGHT OF THE HOPPER) THE GEARS CAN FALL OFF VERY EASY AND GET LOST), the switch it on the left of the rollers , I had a problem with the paper switch, it was jamed and was not able to tell the printer if there was paper in the hopper or not , when I un stuck the little arm the printer worked fine.....
I have the same problem
