Dear doc doz,
Most probably you have the spill valve stuck in a position that keeps the machine off. This could happen for various reasons. It could get stuck by using plenty detergents or chemicals, without rinsing the machine afterwards. It could happen by leaving the machine under pressure for a long time. Most probably (with all respect) you used to store the machine when not in use, with the pressure still in the system. To fix this problem the machine has to be opened. When you come to the spill valve, you can bypass the micro switch and if the machine works, then it is the spill valve. Most probably it is the spill valve and you have not much expencies to fix the machine. If you do not know how to fix it yourself, I suggest that you take it to an expirienced technician.

MG.
SOURCE: trouble with Karcher Pressure washer
Dear Pgarciax,
It is important that you must have mentioned the model number of your Karcher. Just the same I can surely say that your machine's fault lies in the "SPILL VALVE"
When the gun is open and pressure is being produced, the spill valve is in a relaxed position. Also it has at the bottom a valve, which when pressure is produced it is closed. If this does not close due to dirt or corrosion, the pessure goes down. Now when you close the gun, pressure forces the spill valve down to close the electrical system. Now if the "o" rings of the spill valve are damaged, the machine will start going on and off while in stand-by. So if you know how to locate the Spill Valve, all one has to do is change it with a new one.
In some Karcher machines there are 2 spill valves. One regulates pressure and the other one is for switching off the machine when the gun is closed.
Low pressure could also be due to faulty suction or delivery valves. Most probably the suction valves.
But when saying that there are short interruptions while in stand by, I stick to the fact that the spill valve needs renewing.
Regards,
MG.

Remove and clean the carburator. Sound line a stuck needle on the float.
SOURCE: my karcher pressure washer has lost its water power
I have the same problem. With mine I have to remove the tip that I am using then pull the trigger and then replace the tip and pull and pressure should return. I believe that one of my valves is sticking causing me to reprime the pump frequently. I am trying to clean or replace my valves to fix the problem.
I hope this helps.

**RESOLVED**
I could not get mine to spray after bringing it out of storage and it was driving me crazy.
The problem is there is a valve inside the Karcher and it gets seized up so we need to get oil to that valve and you do not need to take it apart.
To get it working, unplugged from the mains power, tip the Karcher on its back and spray WD40 into the hole where you attach the hose pipe, then attach the hose pipe and switch on the water, then use the handle and spray, it shall bring unpressurised water through, remove the hose pipe and spray more WD40 into the hole, do it a few times. That then should get the oil passing to the valve and get it to unstick. Put it all together and then plug in the mains power supply. Use the handle to spray, now what you need to do is pump the water to create the surges of pressure, by having the Karcher switched on and twist the handle to pressure and soft flow, on off , on off, twisting back and forth, also switch the power switch on the Karcher on off on off and twist the handle until it pushes the seized valve open and the pressure works.
Before you put the Karcher away you need to get some oil in the valve first so it doesn't seize up and ready for the next use. Switch off mains power, remove the hose, put the Karcher on its back again, spray WD40 and then use the handle to spray out the last bit of water from the system, that should take the WD40 into the system and stop that valve from seizing up. You will get oil all over the place so do this all on a surface that you are not bothered about and not on your decking or paving if you get what I mean.
