Kenmore Range My kenmore range clock display just went out but the oven light and burners are still working. I checked the fuses behind the bottom drawer and there are only fuses for the oven, burners and oven light but all fuses look good. I do not see anyway to get the range top off to see if there is an additonal fuse in the control panel area.

I tried the above solution and the clock is now reset, however, the oven door will not open because it is locked. The display shows "LOCK" in the display now, is there a way to reset this so the oven door can be unlocked?

    Thank you.

Try just unplugging the unit for about 5 minutes. That will reset the clock and hopefully fix the problem. If not you probably need to replace the clock.

Try the same step again. if it doesnt work replace the clock in the stove.

Clock, timer and oven does not work on Kenmore gas Range

Let me know the model# and ill see if there are any thermal fuses. If not than most likely you will have to replace the EOC (Electronic oven control). Available at www3.sears.com

I have a Kenmore 790.96224 electric range and the burners and oven do not work, but the clock is working. how do i fix?

Try replacing ONE stovetop burner and see if the new one works. If it does, replace more stovetop burners. If the new ones all work, replace the oven burners.

If that first replacement stovetop burner STILL doesn't work, don't replace any more. Instead, check (or have checked) the circuit breaker for the range. It may get power from a second source to power the clock.

I have a Kenmore electric smooth top range that I cannot use the oven on.

it sounds like the clock assy. cooked or there's a shorted wire somewhere, did the bake element crack or short out?this also can take out the clock assy.if the part is 150 dollars that 's not bad, some of them cost 300 or more.good luck with your oven, also you should have an electrician come in and put the stove on it's own electrical line.

We were given an electric smooth top kenmore range. When it was initially plugged in, the digital panel came on. When the stove was pushed into place, the digital clock/timer went off and the oven won't...

The electronic timer/clock must be working and be in manual mode for the oven to work. Try turning the power off and on and see if it resets. If is doesn't you might need a new timer unit. If you don't need the timer and clock it can be easily by-passed at the rear by joining the active and load wires and the oven will work.

Kenmore model number 91193412000 burners went out

Its almost impossible to tell you how to repair it without being there to view what is going on. by what you are saying, it looks like you have a short between two or more wires, possibly stuck together from heat. After switching off, remove cover at the back and follow the wiring to the clock and the burner switches and look for anything obvious. Look for a wire possibly burned off and leaning onto another electrical wire.

Electric range burners and oven element just stopped working. Burner indicator light came on and oven temp setting displays correctly. Clock went into set mode automatically, though. Burner came back on...

check the power behind the stove, the outlet for 220 volts, i just fix one with the same problem, it was getting 110 volts but not the 220 volts. so there was nothing wrong with the stove but with the power source.when the stove indicator lights work and the clock, it means that only 110 volts are coming to the stove.

Kenmore Electric Range

F1 Stuck touch pad Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be cancelled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC), touch pad, or both.
