But when turn gas on the pilot goes out. replaced the thermocouple
still doesn't work. the knob will turn to level 3 before the pilot light goes out. I blew out everything out and took apart where the gas should come out and it was not clogged. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you have a common problem with infrared heaters. They are very dust sensitive and they will light and then go out when they are dusty. If you have already tried to blow it out at home you need to take the heater to your propane dealer who will take the heater apart and blow it out correctly. They will then hook it up to their gas line and make sure that the problem is fixed. I hope that you haven't blown up into the bottom of the heater where the gas line is connected. There is a diaphragm up in there and if you blow into it you risk messing it up to where it won't work at all.

Make sure that it is a heater for propane, not natural gas. If so, when mine is off all summer, air gets in the line and I bleed out the line then hold the pilot button for a long time to get pure propane to the pilot light.

My kozy world gsn 3011 keeps going out , blows out pilot light

It sounds like there may be an issue with your Kozy World GSN 3011 gas heater. A common cause of the pilot light going out is a problem with the thermocouple, a safety device that senses when the pilot light is lit and sends a signal to the gas valve to allow gas to flow to the main burner. Another possible cause could be a blockage in the gas line or a malfunctioning gas valve.
It is important to have a qualified technician check and repair your heater to ensure safe operation. Attempting to repair a gas heater without proper knowledge and training can be dangerous and may result in injury or damage to the unit.

My Kozy World nat gas wall heater has worked beautifully for the past three winters. I cleaned it this morning with canned air, got all the dust off the ceramic plates, blew out the burner inlets, blew out...

Does the pilot light stay lit if you continually depress the control valve?
If the pilot light stays lit as long as you keep the valve depressed, then the problem is the thermocouple is bad. The pilot light makes enough electricity via the thermocouple to hold open the gas valve that feeds the burners. If the thermocouple fails to produce that electricity, the gas valve will shut down and switch off the gas flow to the whole unit.

After installing my kozy world heater and lit the pilot the heater came on. all three plaques. this happened while the knob was still in the pilot position. the heater wont shut off.

I actually have three of these and what I found was the gas valve was stuck in the open position you may need to replace it or possibly remove it and try to clean it of any residue but be very careful if you don't know exactly what your doing then you need to get a pro. Remember that your dealing with propane and it could ignite and cause serious damage to you and your home. Please be very careful and you might want to call the manufacturer and talk to them about it. Because it is a gas appliance they have a responsibility to you if anything should happen then they may be liable.

Kozy world propane wall heater pilot will not light

This can be caused by several things:

1. The inline gas valve running to the the heater is OFF. Turn the valve ON.

2. The gas control knob on the heater is not exactly in the PILOT position. Unless the knob bottoms
out and you feel strong pressure (other than spring pressure) pushing back at you. It's not exactly
in the PILOT Position. Once the pilot lights, hold the control knob in for 30 seconds to 60 seconds
to allow the Thermocouple to full heat.

3. The pilot is dirty and needs to be cleaned, as do the burners.*

4. The LP Gas Tank is empty or to low to maintain te proper gas pressure.

* Here is a link to a demonstration on how to properly clean the pilot & burners.

My Kozy heater turns off after a few minutes, I then have to re light it and when it kicks on again after a few mins it turns off again. It will stay lite if I turn it down but when it goes on agin it will...

If you have a standing pilot that wont stay lit and you have to keep relighting it, it can only be a couple of things that will do this.
1. Try tighting the thermocouple at the gas valve. (this is a thin copper line that goes from the gas valve and goes to the pilot light.)
2. Make sure that the tip of the thermocouple is in the pilot light flame.
3. Make sure that the thermocouple is clean.

The pilot works and the flame comes on but when the flame goes out so does the pilot light

Hi,
Uswually when that happens it is because the pilot is too weak... the pilot is not focused on the thermocouple properly or the thermocouple is weak...

You will need to figure out which of these things are causing your problems...

I just bought a brand new Kozy World blue flame heater and the pilot light will not stay lit and when it is lit, it goes out as soon as I turn up the nob.

The thermocouple is bad or not aligned properly. It is the metal bar in front of the pilot light. This bar senses the heat put off by the pilot light. If it does not get hot it will not allow the gas to flow. You either need to align it so that it is in front of the pilot light and receives enough heat to allow the gas valve to operate or possibly the thermocouple has gone bad and needs replacing.

It could also be that you are not waiting long enough. The thermocouple must sense the heat for at least one minute or more before it will let the gas valve turn on. Turn everything to off for at least five minutes. Re-light the pilot light and let it burn for at least one minute and then try turning the knob to on.
