First, rule out problems with the wiring to the speakers. Disconnect the speaker wires to the amp. Get a AAA battery. Hold one of the wires to the negative side of the battery and lightly grace the other wire across the positive side. You should be able to hear something like pops and scratches coming from the speakers. Do this for all the speaker wires and wire-tie each pair.

Tvand sound comes on but no picture

It is hard to say what the problem could be. A lot of boards on this unit can cause the same condition. Lets start out simple. Can you get the menu to pull up? If you can then check your connections at your inputs and at the components that you have hooked up to the TV. If you can't bring up the menu, then I would suggest having a servicer look at it. You could have a bad tuner causing this, a bad digital board, bad analog board or even a bad light engine. To many variables.

Check speaker connections and wires and make sure all wires are plugged properly. If problem still exist then unplug speaker one=by-one and test home theater to determine what speaker is causing Protect error.

Kicker kx 800.4

Generally, if a Kicker amp has the power light lit and the protection light isn't lit, it's working. Are you sure that you have signal feeding the amp?

Are you sure your speakers are OK?

Protection light grief

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Vibe is mediocre. Time to invest in an old school Lanzar Opti Drive amp. .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. protection-light-grief-shonxoarcym4awy4zl1imx4o-2-0.jpg

Red light

It sounds like the output transistors have failed. Disconnect everything from the amp except for the B+, ground and remote and turn the amp on. If it goes into protect, the amp is in need of repair. If you want to repair it yourself, email power acoustic for the schematic.
