I just purchased a Philips DVD/VCR, Model No. DVP3345V/17, for use with my Samsung LCD TV, Model No. LN-T3253HX/XAA and Cox digital cable system. Everything is okay except that, when I try to record a TV program, I get a blue screen. However, I can record the program and it plays back fine (both picture and sound). What do I need to do to be able to view the program that I am recording?

Initially, pls set the Samsung LCD TV to the Source selection as if watching a playback evgen if you are going to do a recording.
If that does not work, pls postback manner of connection (cabling) from Cox digital cable system to Philips DVD/VCR to Samsung LCD TV LN-T3253HX/XAA .

Thanks. I actually figured out the problem shortly after posting. I had the DVD/VCR hooked up to an RF Modulator, which I did not need, as my TV has audio/video inputs. Everything is fine now, although I'm still not sure why I could not view the program I was recording while using the modulator. Do you know?
