CD printing on a Epson R380

Everytime I try to print a CD, it will start printing in the bottom corner. If the CD was a clock, inserted into the printer with 12 facing the printer and 6 facing me, then the 12, 11, and 10 positions would actually be printed on. The minor adjustments that the printer lets you make won't help. The printer allows a 2mm adjustment max. This needs a couple inches. I am not sure what the problem could be, but please help.

First click "Print" in there you will see "Adjust print position", adjust to 0.1mm up and 0.1mm left this should center. Depending on the label you're using you will have to keep adjusting until you get the right result.

Epson R380 CD Printing is almost 3/8" off! How do I align it to center image or print on a CD? There is a setting to adjust up to 2mm...not near enough. It used to line up perfect but I don't know...

If you're using a direct printable disc. Settings should be 24mm inner and 117mm outer. Also change the "Adjust print position" to 0.1mm up and 0.1mm left... this should center you. If you're using the stickers label outer should be 117mm but the inner you will have to adjust depending on the lable inner diameter.

Colors on screen do not match colors in print have an SyncMaster 204b screen and an Epson Stylus Photo R380

You will have to keep collabrating the colors on your monitor until you get the right print out. If you're not using the right ink this will also throw off the print outs. Epson R380 is not really your avg high end printers so you will not get the best results. I suggest look for a monitor collabration software to correct your problem.

Error message " Front tray position errror"

Please check to make sure you have not set the default trap position in MS Word to be CD. That would cause this problem as you would be expecting it to send through as letter.

Date on print

You can only print with date and by date when you are using a memory card, but when you're printing directly from a camera you should have an option or a setting on the camera to print the date information. Hope this help...

Epson Printer Setup & Support Number Call 1-8O5-225-669O We are 24 Hour Available Call Now.

I had the same problem with an Epson R340 printer and Epson Print CD software after installing Leopard.  Here's what I did.  Go to System Preferences.  Select Print & Fax.  Select the "+" box on the lower left part of the screen.  Select Epson Printer  -- USB and click "Add" and "continue" in the box that comes up (if it does). Now see if Epson Print CD will print to a CD.  If it does, great.  You can now actually go back to System Preferences and Print & Fax and delete the printer you just added by clicking on the "-" box and Epson Print CD will still work.  Now I found another problem with printing. The CD printing is now off center to the right and down, so in Epson Print CD program you have to click on print and from the print screen click on "Position Adjustment" in the bottom left corner.  I've found the perfect position is 3.5 mm up and 3.5 mm left to make everything print perfectly.  Good luck.
