I have a brand new NAXA AM/FM CD/MP3 player that has a USB port and can't get the thing to play MP3s either on a CD or from the USB port. The display accurately shows the titles of the songs/files, but won't actually play through them (it just skips to the next track and on and on, or counts through the tracks but doesn't play them). Maybe it's a problem with the software I used to create the files? I used Roxio to make the MP3 disk and, for the USB thumb drive, I just copied the files into the drive. Maybe there's another way I could try it, or maybe I just bought an expensive piece of junk. Any suggestions? Thanks. - Josh

Same unit, same problem. I found that when the internal batt is dead current draw on the USB port is not enough to recharge. I have a USB car adaptor (it is for my kids PSP ) and use it to recharge the batt when it goes completly dead. I keep a eye on the remaining batt life and charge it via the computer USB before it gets to low

You neglected to post the Remote's Make and Model. However, most Univ. remotes allow you to "Scan" the TV codes one at a time. You would do this and watch for the TV to turn off. when it does, you have the code and can store it.

SOURCE: How to set the clock on the car stereo (Naxa nx-670)
I had the same issue. I bought my 671 mp3 car stereo from jujudeals.com and I was having the same problem. I called them up and they said that I have to go to clock mode. When in 'Clock Mode' you have to press and hold Select (SEL) and at the same time press FF/REV to adjust time. (Fast Forward adjusts hour, Rewind adjusts minute). If your still having problems contact the Naxa Electronics warranty department. Goodluck!
