I have installed all of the disks on my computer and am having issues with it telling me that its not compatible with xp (which im running) I am also having problems with using the web cam that it is to have with it...my computer doesnt seem to recognize that there is one there...please email me at [email protected] if you have any solutions to these problems...Thanks

Now, I get it. At the "back bottom" of the camera is the USB slot which is used to connect the camera to the computer (for downloading) via the cable supplied with the camera. It is ALSO the 'female" for connecting with the "male" end of the power cable.
For 'Kimmys', guess you meant camera, not computer, in your message. And yes, the light indicates it is charging.

Try this link, while it is a different camera brand, it is the
exact same camera as the JAZZ HDV178, just rebranded.
The software and drivers are the exact same, and worked for
