Have a Toshiba 42H82 rear projection TV

And went to turn it on and the red power light on the front of the TV just goes on and off. No picture or sound. Turned off/on power and problem remained. Any thoughts on what I can try? Just had convergence fixed back in June.

high voltage is not coming up. possible fuse locates on power supply board on the right if you are sitting behind set with back off. if fuses are good, possible horizontal output transistor shorted. sounds horrible but easy repair

Red power light continuously blinking. no picture no sound.

It could be the lamp went out and needs replacement. The Toshiba website states when this happens to unplug the televison for 10 minutes then plug back in. If that does not work then try another power outlet. If that does not work then call for service

the lamp in the projector might have went. try replaceing it. to do so try
