Hyundai will not repair this however a electronic service center aka tv repair may. I can do it as most likely is it several capacitors that have blown. Hyundai is also a little picky to open they are assembled very well actually compared to other monitors (they are difficult to open up) let me know what you would liek to do.

get a lawyer let them pay for it
meanwhile a service center like for televisions will be able to do the work for you .

When I turn on my monitor, it briefly displays the image, but then turn to black

This usually means the backlight has failed and it is not cost effective to repair. Some monitors with a faulty power supply will exhibit this fault too. If the power supply is external (a little DC "brick") Try and find a replacement with equal voltage and similar (preferrably more) current rating (e.g. 12VDC, 3 Amp). This can be a cheap fix - especially if you have a spare power supply lying around. Often many different monitors can use the same power supply, so if you have another dead one, or know someone with one, you can try that - the connector will even most likely be the same.

My hyundai imagequest l70n lcd monitor started to started to make a high pitched noise and the screen went black but the green light stayed on but now i plug it in and nothing happens no picture and no...

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

My Monitor

Ok? first what you need to do is to hibernate your computer. You can do that by pressing the power button as long as you need for the computer to turn off. Then you turn your computer back on and press the power button ON THE MONITOR twice but you MUST do this really fast. Then what you need to do is to find a circuit breaker on the back of your computer. switch it to the off position then turn it back on. Then turn your computer on. This should fix your problem.

Blackness on monitor

Hi, A common problem to LCD displays. If you can somehow still see the desktop (...barely see the picture ...) then chances are that you have a backlight problem. This may either be the light itself which is a thin florescent lamp (CCF) or the inverter that powers it. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.

Standby mode

Check the video connection the video card. You can try another monitor to see if it does the same thing. The video card could be bad.
