I need a replacement carafe for a Kenmore 12-cup drip coffee maker Model No. 80221 (other numbers stamped on the bottom include 5053 and 3044345). Sears says I'm out of luck and should contact the manufacturer - which is impossible since the only name of the coffee maker is Kenmore and they don't manufacture anything. Please help!

Had the same thing happen when my carafe broke. Mine is 238.69328 which is the black coffee maker. The simple solution is to head to Walmart and buy the GE replacement carafe. It's the 12 cup capacity one #169164. The box has 169180 on the bottom and it works like the old one and looks just as good no matter what color your coffee pot is. The cost-about $10.

I broke my Carafe a few times, which is a kenmore i went to sears they could not help me but i did find it at searspartsdirect.com. at first i had trouble locating the right part so i called customer service and got the help i needed. the delivery was quick .
Had the same problem- I went to Wallmart they had 3 different replacment carafes. i wasn't sure which would work- so i bought ALL 3- Results-Mr. Coffee 12-cup replacement with the domed drip stop lid didn't fit at all! The GE did fit, but was loose( it can be useable if your in a pinch ) Mr. Coffee 12-cup replacement with model#PLD12 is a PERFECT FIT, and it looks as if it came with the drip pot (expect for the mr. Coffee solgan on the carafe) LOL cost was $12.88 at Wal Mart.
I needed a replacement carafe for a newer model 12 Cup Kenmore I thought it would be a simple thing to order online but it turns out they don't have one availble from Sears????? Nice customer service
We broke our pot also, and went to sears for a replacement. we were told that they do not make kenmore coffee makers anymore. i have not found any other replacements that fit the kenmore.

Try the Salton/Melitta replacement 12-cup carafe. It looks awfully similar in shape and lid. The handle looks a little different. Also, the Mr. Coffee 12-cup replacement with the domed drip stop lid looks like it might work, also. Years ago, I got a Brew Rite universal replacement carafe that fit any coffee maker, but I have been unable to find it lately. It had a lid with an adjustable drip stop dome.

Thought Kenmore was a good product, but I'll stick to Mr. Coffee or one of the like. My coffee maker was less than a year old. I tried the Mr. Coffee crafe but it did not work.
The glass started to splinter and crack in our carafe. We would just like to buy a new one, but we're having trouble finding a replacement carafe.
Our Kenmore 12 cup coffee maker also broke at the glass spout when it got bumped against the plastic top. I have been going in circles speaking with Kenmore and Sears to find a replacement carafe but with no luck. The pot is only 3 years old, but since it is discontinued they have no record of my model number. They tell me my only solution is to buy a whole new coffee maker, even though the only problem is a chipped carafe!!!
I really like the coffee maker...but the carafe cracked in the bottom and will not hold water. I have searched high and low for a new one, even have tried the yard sales and flea markets. NO luck!!. Everybody seems to have the maker but no carafe. I don't want to buy a different carafe and get it home and it not work. Has anyone found a carafe that works for sure?
I have the same problem I can't get the replacement pot. I think it's pretty sad that we are such a "throw away" society and we cannot replace something as simple as a glass pot!!!!
