Ipod connecting to Kenwood Car Receiver

Hello,
I had the exact same problem. There is a RESET button on the face of the radio. I have pressed it with the radio ON, OFF and While Holding the SOURCE (power) Button. My iPods are now working fine with the radio.

Reads dc/dc error @ high volume

more than likely you have a bad ground and/or a power supply problem: bad wire connection, bad alternator - but check the radio's ground wire first.
