you would be able to perform a master reset on your deivce and your device will reboot itself and when it comes back on it will be as if your phone is brand new and will have you do the calibration of your screen to realign the devices screen

1. Download the latest activesync and connect your mda to your computer and verify your device is connected(not as guest)
2. Perform a soft/hard reset on your MDA then tap your screen to start the screen alignment wizard
3. Download the remote screen alignment tool attached and install it on your machine.

Screen was not aligned
Hi there,
I too own a HTC 3g and also had similar problem , if suppose i touch 2 number 1 comes, then later I removed all my 3rd party softwares and did a clean hard reset now i don't any problem. It works fine.
