I have above m/c which needs to be installed & to do scaning jobs.
please help me if you have a copy of a usermanual OR the repair manual OR both

Go to http://www.hp.com and input your scanners model number and download the user manual. HP doesn't let users download repair manuals for their products

hp does not have Vista drivers for your Scanjet 5370c model.

Workaround,
You can try to Vuescan program(Trial) from http://www.hamrick.com/, then install the Scanjet 5370c XP installer to your PC. Try and see whether it works!

While scaning in PDF and using the option save to file the size of the file is exhorbitantaly large. In HP Scanjet 7650 the same documents size is withhin 300 KB while in HP Officejet 4580 the size is...

It is all in you settings adjust the size of the file.

Hi

I take it the scanner is connecting to your pc okay? the paper need to engage in the feeder. Try just putting one piece of a4 copy paper in the scanner and seeing if that will register as beng paper in the document feeder.
