Use the nokia pc suite 7 for windows and connect phone to computer and browse files of your phone in the same way you browse for files on your comp. you will be able to retrieve the information from your phone. after doing so you may want to try to reset to factory settings.

Nokia 6300 wont turn on, blue lights on side stay on

Hey !
1 . Open the backside of the phone
2 . take off the battery
3 . wait approximatively 10 secondes
4 . back the battery inside & close the phone
5 . switch on the phone
Et voila.

I hope it helps, I have experienced the same and it works for me.

If it don't work try to clean (softly) the sim card and the parts under the battery with air.

Nokia 6300 blue lcd lights staying on draining my battery

This could be a software glitch. Perform reset settings on the handset. You will not lose any date, only personalized settings will be resorted to factory defaults. If this still does not help, you would need to reflash the software on the handset.
