Sharp cd player wont turn on

Last night was working this morning it isnt working. Cant get it to turn on. What can i do?

Well, it is the fuse in the power supply, or the power transformer has opened at the primary, "they sometimes include a thermal fuse built in" eliminating the regular fuse you find in the power supply. I suggest you get it checked with a estimate.

Flashing is either an error code or the set trying to boot up--some of the Mitsubishi sets if power removed will blink for a minute and then stop--then the set can be turned on.
