When I want install Theocracy in my Windows 7 I see "SORRY Non-supported platform Couldn't install...". How can I do install it?

How do you install Windows 7 on your Compaq Presario 1692 Notebook PC, that currently has Windows 98 on it? (Win98SE?)

Primer:
Drivers are small pieces of software that allow the Operating System, to communicate with a device.

Windows 98, Windows XP, and Windows 7, are some examples of an O/S. (Operating System)

The optical drive (CD/DVD drive), audio, (Sound), graphics, and Ethernet, are some examples of a Device.

Let's go to HP Support, and look at the drivers available for the Compaq Presario 1692 Notebook PC, (HP bought out Compaq),

In the list click on the blue - Software and Driver Downloads.

On this page you are asked to choose your Operating System.
In the rectangular box that has - Select - in it, go to the right of the box, and left-click on the blue down arrow.

In the drop down list you will see that Windows 7 is not listed.
This means there are no drivers for your laptop, and Windows 7.

There have been many people caitlynbrean, that have installed Windows 7 on their computer, only to find that it will not work.

Sorry to say.... you have to try to re install the Win7 again, if that couldn't be done, formatting the the hardisk will be the final option.
If only the graphic is the problem, just download a new driver from the manufacturers site and take note of the win7 ultimate OS.

You'll need to download and install those Win7 drivers from the ASUS support website.

There are no drivers, for the scanner, for windows 7. There are only drivers for WinXP and Win2000.

Hi there, did this machine come with windows 7? if not I believe that there are no compatible drivers for the non 7 viao's, I attemted to install win7 to a viao and had the excat same problem. I have installed 7 on a lot of different machines and the viaos are about the only machine that wont allow you to install certain drivers.

it may be that there are no drivers for windows 7, I would have a look at the manufacturers website for software from an older os (xp or vista) and try installing those in compatibility mode.

First of all, your English is not proper and i couldn't really understand it. I understand that Windows (yes, it's Windows, not Window) has a problem. Can you tell me what's the problem? Is there a error, do you need to activate? As i see, you want a ISO of Windows 7. Sorry, that's illegal, and at Fixya we do not provide illegal links.

You cant, sorry.. There are a large number of accessories that are not supported by windows 7 including mainboards and portable drives etc.. You only recourse is to fall back to XP..
