The best way to reset the BIOS back to the defaults (if there isnt a setting to install the defaults), is to remove the BIOS battery for 15mins. This will drain the charge from the BIOS, insert the battery and then go to the BIOS setting to set the Date and Time.

Go into the BIOS and disable the error message. You will need to look around in the BIOS to find the exact location of the enable/disable setting for case intrusion.

SOURCE: replaced the hard drive, won't reboot. give me blue screen- f1 to set-up, f10 system recovery. Does nothing.

during the boot sequence hit delete several time and the cmos setting will pop open, make sure your drive is recognized.
set to auto detect and see if it finds it.
make sure your drive jumpers are set to master or slave. for the new drive master.if it's a single drive you usually remove the jumper connector.
make sure your master drive is at the end of the ribbon cable
change your boot sequence to cd cd cd and boot to the cd
then your windows cd will boot and you go through formatting and partitioning
once your done you will have to reset the boot sequence in the bios to boot to the hard disk.

Hope this helps good luck

SOURCE: Reset BIOS on HP Pavilion a750w

Fastest way to reset BIOS is to remove the CMOS battery (looks like a large watch battery on Motherboard) for 30 minutes. After you replace the battery, the BIOS should reset to default. If further problems arise involving the BIOS, it's possible the CMOS battery is bad.
