When google chrome starts, it displays the "aie aie aie" error message in background, while a system message box entitled "chrome.exe" sais something like "Application couldn't initialize correclty. error 0x00000005 (5)" with only one button : OK.
Please notice that chrome is compatible with my antivirus solution for using it on other machines with the same antivir program, and that I have all .NET framework distrbutions and updates installed correctly (working with in other apps)

There are two main reasons for error 0x00000005, the first and easier one is that you computer doesn't have Microsoft.NET framework, you should install it.

The second reason is with some protection programs, I had a problem with Symantec Endpoint, and this is what I did to solve error 0x00000005 –

1) Click on "Start" > Control Panel

2) Chose "Add/Remove Programs"

3) Remove "Symantec Endpoint Protection"
Take Google Chrome for a spin now see if it works.

All the best,
B.

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).

When attempting to run Microsoft .Net based applications, you may get the following error on startup:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)
The cause of this error is that the Microsoft .Net framework is not installed or is damaged in some way. Therefore applications will fail to launch.
To fix this error you can run Windows Update and find the Microsoft .Net framework update to install. Alternatively, you can download the Microsoft .Net Framework directly from Microsoft.

I'm having the same problem, not quite sure whether it is happending due to upgrade to IE 8 or Windows Installer 4.5 installation. Cleanup and re-install of Yahoo Messenger 10 won't help. The YahooMessenger.exe fails to initialize right during the installation process.

0xc0000005 application failed to initialized proplerly) (click on OK to terminate the application) how to uninstall google chrome. google chrome does not uninstall whenever i try to uninstall it.

this is a common windows error. if a certain application stops working like your google chrome. try to edit start up items, click on start, click run, on the run box type : msconfig. click ok. on the start up tab, click on disable all on the bottom right, hit apply or ok. it will give you a prompt to exit with restart. this is for xp, if its vista more likely the same but after restarting the computer, no prompt for system configuration utility will pop up. to unisntall the google chrom, if its xp go to add remove programs and click remvoe, if you have vista, go to program and features and uninstall it from there, if no go. use the microsoft installer clean up utility. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 just download and install it then look for it under programs and it will gie you all the programs installed on your computer, you can look for google chrome and uninstall it. that should work.
