What to do if television becomes "bloqueado"?

You can try to leave in unplugged from power for 10 mins, then try again. But in all likelihood something as cold soldered on the inside you can either try to get warranty (if applicable) or get a new one.

dont blame the receiver yet, the problem mostly comes from the remote control. it may be the infrared emiting problem. checkout if the infrared in the remote control is emited well. to see this infrared you can read the article at http://www.unique-stuff.co.cc/fixing_remote_control_check_infrared.html

SOURCE: my LG TV doesnt respond to remote control. it works when i operate it manually but as soon as i press any button on the remote, the channels keep running on their own. none of the buttons appear stuck

First thing I would suggest is have the remote tested--understand the remote and the buttons on the set go to same place--buttons have priority-

A remote can be tested--most testers you point the remote at and press any button and the tester flashes briefly--in this case if it continues to flash something got spilled inside the remote--this can be dealt with usually--also some digital cameras with them on it can be pointed at and same thing done--will see momentary flash on camera screen--if press a button and continues to constantly flash--it likely is the channel buttons on the set (up if channels scan up and down if they scan down.)

NOT likely but possible the problem is in the set--checking the remote will tell that--if you get that far I can give you general instructions about taking the remote apart and what to look for and do.

Test remote first---no sense in taking it apart until you know--got any friends with a similar LG you could test your remote on their set.
