Go to control panel click on sound then click on the recording tab choice which ever mic you are using the click on properties then check the mic volume and see if its mute.

press the select key then the number 0 this will unlock the phone.

If you can open it up, you should clean the contacts of the microphone and it should work fine.

start by opening control panel, sounds, then make sure volume is checked and up high, and the MUTE button is not checked. then make sure the sound is plugged into the headphone jack, not the microphone jack

With the handpiece on the hook. Try typing #86 into the handset. This should turn on CLI from that handset.

go to device manager and check if there is mic internal or not-and check user manual sound section.
