I fixed my stereo by opening and reconnecting the the side board because it was sticking out. If you're going to do it disconnect the stereo.

There is a problem inside that is being detected during the power-up sequence. The clicking is the main power relay that is being tripped when the problme is detected. With no symptoms to guide me other than the clicking, I can't state the exact problem. This could be as simple as a bad cap in the power supply or something more severe. An examination of the boards and some measurements would be necessary to provide you with a reasonable estimate for the repair. I would suggest that you bring this to an authorized Panasonic service center for an estimate first. Armed with their evaluation, I may be able to walk you throught the actual repair.

The power light is just blinking red on my panasonic 1080i hdtv. cant even switch it off using the power button. picture and sound come on for about a second when the tv is switched on after power cord...

The power light keeps flashing and the tv won't turn on. If you unplug for a minute and hit the power button it sound like it is coming on then it shuts off and the red power light flashes slowly. The TV is a Panisonic 1080i HDTV, about 6-7 years old.

SA-AK510 You can turn it off manually, and it

mama_grubb1

In regards to your issue with your SA-AK510 turning back on most likely you have a short and/or a bad connection on the unit. So what is happening is the is a charge going to the switch that is engaging the switch again after you turn it off. Note most modern electronics do not have switches like a light switch. They have an electric relay switch that turn off and on the device when the circuit is completed.

The first thing I would do is make sure that your receiver is not still in warranty. If it is I would call Denon's support. If you are not then the first theng to check would be the fuse. I have seen a few devices over the years where the fuse clip is not connected properly and starts to arc which in turn puts a charge on the board. Also you will want to look around in the areas that get hot to see if any of the installation melted off the wires causing you to have some exposed wires.

Hope this helps

Panasonic TH-42PX80U won't turn on.

You are missing 15volts. If this is a new TV, it could be as simple as a plug not fully seated on the power supply. Regardless, the repair should be covered by warranty and Panasonic is one of the best when it comes to taking care of the customer. Ifd nI can be of further assistance, let me know

Power problem

How many blinks is it doing? It has a built in self diagnosis code that it will blink. Pause a second then blink again. Count the blinks then let me know.
