Your power jack needs to be replaced. You can buy a repair service on eBay. You'll need a new power jack if you'd like to repair it yourself, which you'd need to take from another radio.

When you hit the menu button go to FM transmitter and make sure is is turned on, and sellect a frequency
to set it to that is not being used by a radio station, tune you radio to the same frequency. if you are using the audio out on the starmate to plug directly into an aux in on you stereo, there should be a audio level adjustment in the menu as well.

Press "Menu"
scroll down to "sirius id"
press "select"

Go into the menu and make sure the audio out is turned up

If you go to anyplace that sell's Sirius radios. Like best buy they should be able to fix it for you.

I have the same problem. It happens even more with a generic universal power cord instead of the Sirius brand one.

try a new antenna...they go bad...

with starmate 3 press at same time menu +memo+band with the radio on (with sirius screen only)
