If you have the beat generated, and merely want to save it, press Write Button once. Use the tempo up and down arrows to select the memory location and press the Write button again. it should store it.

If you are just looking for a different random shuffle, the metronome is hard coded and limited to what you can change on it.

If you did not get the owners manual, it is here:

If the quarter note receives the beat, the eighth notes are called what of the beat?

There are no hard rules. The eighth note is just another letter in the alphabet of musical language. It has a certain meaning and that is "half the length of a quarter note".

An example... In 4/4 time, if you count "1 and - 2 and - 3 and - 4 and", the eighth note can be placed at the "number" making it the down beat with room for another note or rest on the off beat. If placed on the "and" then it can be used as a pickup to the following downbeat.

Check out this simple explanation...

Alesis Quadraverb Q2. When I turn on Alesis Q2 the programs 1-100 preset are working but when I turn on programs 200-300 user It does not work. There is only "bad program" characters on display.

The Problem is a dead battery which is soldered to the circuit board inside the unit. It's a Panasonic BR-2325-1HC, but really you can replace it with any similar 3V battery.
Here's how I fixed mine.

Cannot format or reload factory presets after it stopped working

The card that you used to transfer the files HAS to be (1) FORMATTED by the ESX-1 unit FIRST, (2) then put the card into your computer's card reader and download the files. (3) Put the card BACK into the ESX-1 and try reloading the factory presets. Good luck!

Marshall MG30FX loud tapping sound in time with delay even when no guitar plugged in and effects turned off

Hi J Wade. I'm Dave P. I'm not a guitar amp expert or technician but I've been using amps and effects for 35 years and there are a couple things I can suggest.

That kind of periodic noise/switch noise can be a symptom of having the polarity of the amp reversed. If your amp has a 3-position OFF/ground switch, try reversing the ground. If it doesn't, take the plug and turn it around. Just don't get near a microphone unless you're sure your amp is grounded the same as the P.A. It could fry your lips off.

Dirty switches to that too. You said the noise is in time with the delay's tap time which is set by a foot switch. If tapping that switch the first time generates a pop, the delay may have catch it and is repeating it. Turn off the amp, remove the delay foot switch and turn it back on. Still noisy? If not, give the foot switch a good cleaning.

When you turn the EFFECTS knob up, is it scratchy? Might need the potentiometer cleaned. What happens when you specifically turn the DELAY level down all the way while using the other effects? Noise still there?

That's all I've got. Hopefully, it was helpful. Don't wrack your brain over this too much. There could very well be an internal problem with your amp that will require a trip to the shop. You don't want to open it up yourself. Rock on but be safe.

Dr. beat will not turn on

Most of the problems with these type units are due to dead batteries or incorrect power adapters and broken power jacks, Check for those things use ONLY the original type power adapter.

I need to find SOME kind of adequate replacement tweeter or dome or horn for a Yamaha MS150 powered speaker. (used for instruments or PA) The only specs i have are: The back of the magnet reads...

That is a very wide range cone type (oval) type tweeter that probably covers from around 2500 Hz up to 20KHz. You will probably NOT be satisfied with generic speaker... this one is special for sure. Try calling http://www.speakerrepair.com/ocsdiaphragms.html and see if you can get it reconed. Most speakers that are cheap will NOT take the power that the amp will deliver.

When i press the harmony effect i have to hold it

Well i hope the latching mechanism isn't busted!

Check/review your parameter settings for your programs. Especially in the Expression Pedal Control areas.

From their site:

--Harmony Footswitch
This footswitch turns the harmonies on or off. While multiple harmonies can be selected within a preset, the HARMONY footswitch activates or deactivates any selected harmonies simultaneously.
When the LED above the HARMONY footswitch is illuminated, the harmonies are on. When the LED is turned off, the harmonies are turned off.

--Note: The settings for FX Footswitch Control, Harmony Footswitch Control and Guitar Sensitivity apply to ALL presets. The setting for the Expression Pedal Control applies to the current preset only. If you modify the Expression Pedal setting and wish to store it you must Store the preset (see page 11 ). When you load another preset, its setting for Expression Pedal Control will take effect.

--To perform a Factory Reset procedure
If you are editing a preset, press the Up or Down footswitch to exit edit mode.
Press and hold the Major/Minor button and then press and release the Store button. The display will read FAC RESET- WILL ERASE ALL YOUR PRESETS... , then STORE=RST.
Press the Store button again to continue with the factory reset. If you don’t want to do the factory reset, just wait 5 seconds, or press almost any other button, to cancel.
