Found the problem, there was a water leak, water had ran onto the motor shorted it out. The front kick plate comes off there is a screw to remove either side then it just pulls forward. The motor is accessible from there.. It was obvious what had happened as soon as I saw it. The things to look for are rusty bolts around the motor and either water or water stains on the plastic bottom plate of the machine. Probably not worth fixing for the cost of a motor, but it may save someone else blowing a board.Found the problem, there was a water leak, water had ran onto the motor shorted it out.

Is it Indent ?
Many basic UK Indesit washing machines fitted with a rotary dial indicate error codes by clicking the dial continuously round and flashing the door lock light a set number of times.
If the door light (LED) flashes 7 times it means, "Heater relay stuck - check connections on heater and module (PCB)".
In my experience, this fault code usually required a replacement PCB and EEProm. A connection fault on the heater usually results in the entire washing machine going dead. Nothing will work, but the LEDs light up. This symptom can also be caused by an open circuit motor or other faults.
It's always possible for a connection fault to cause error codes but the heater relay is embedded in the PCB and if it develops a fault the whole board needs replacing. I don't recommend replacing the PCB as a DIY repair. It is an expensive part and it will not be guaranteed unless fitted by an engineer. New PCBs do not come with the micro-chip EEPROM which would also need fitting. Replacing the PCB and EEPROM yourself is risky. If the fault is not cured you cannot send the parts back.
If you have an engineer to replace the PCB and EEPROM I would imagine the cost is likely to easily be over £100. If your washing machine has a 5 year parts guarantee Indesit would supply the PCB free of charge but only if their own engineer fits it at a cost of about £90.
If you are really keen to fix this yourself and want to try another PCB there is a company that might be able to help and are happy to deal with the public called Quality Electronic Repairs (see link below)
Not sure which washing machine you have. But assuming it is an LG SE is a serious fault.
Motor fault detected
Can also be caused by be main PCB
This is not a good fault code to see as it will generally be correct and either the washing machine drive motor or the main electronic control PCB is faulty.
Check motor
Check motor tacho
Check all connections and blocks to the motor
Check connections on the main control module
Check main control module

Hi, my Amica AWCT washing machine has no power. I have checked the external source, together with the fuse in the plug that is all fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated! thanks Tam
Sorry but this forum does not supply any type of manual, installation instructions or schematic diagram direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
Good luck,
John C.
There is no internal fuse in the washer to replace. If you have replaced the fuse, make sure that is is a good one. If you are satisfied that you have power to the washer, then I'm afraid it sounds quite serious. Trust this helps.
