i solve it with:
hold stop on the device and press and hold rewind/back track button on remote for about 10 secs; this will reset the system. work on my fa-163. discovered by myself. have fun. p.s. another good: keep press usb copy button on device to choose mp3 quality recording (96, 128, 192, 256 kbit) bye2all
