SOURCE: Wheel shaft seals on troy bilt pony 7 hp.

If the seal fits over the axle shaft it should be ok. be sure your axles are very clean as not to ruin the new seals when applying them. probably a good idea to replace them as a pair (right and left side) to save you time down the road.

My troy tiller has double pully but only has one belt. Should it not have two belts?

No, it should only have one belt. The two sets of pulleys are for different speed settings. Put the belt in the desired setting. The small engine pulley is for higher speed/ less torque. The larger engine pulley is for lower speed/ more torque.

How do you get the belts off of the super bronco tiller

Hello,

There is a tennsioner for the belt that you can loosen up to remove the belt. There is a screw that loosens up the belt tensioner.

Good luck.

Changing Drive belt On Troy Built Tiller

You have to remove the engine (4 bolts, no big problem), then remove the bolt in the center of the pulleys, then remove the pulleys. Slip the belt(s) (2 if you have the Super Bronco model) onto the pulleys, re-attach the pulleys with the bolt, re-mount the engine, and you're home free.
