Dvd-r corrupt HI It?s my first time with my new Hitachi dz-mv780A and at the and of the time left in the dvd I had short message ? dvd almost full? after that other message said ? cannot read disc. check dirt/crack/both-sides contrary/inserted correctly.? I tried everything to get my valuable scenes, with no hope. please does any one know how to fix it.

You can try to clean the laser lens first with a q-tip and 99% alcohol. If that fails, you should take it in for repair because the laser lens mechanism may be out of line because of a bump. There may also be a dust build up inside that prevents the proper movement of the lens. This can be done at home too.

I agree, I bought one too, Hitachi DVD Cam bx35a is a piece of garbage. i could open the file into my pc. I wasted my money on this piece of craft. DONT BUY IT. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
